Grids For Theaters, Studios and Stages
Pipe Grids
A Pipe Grid is a cost effective way to add versatility to a TV Studio, choral room or other space that can have a variety of uses.
Normally configured in 4’ x 4’ sections, the user can suspend stage lighting, tracks, scenery, or anything else needed for that particular class or production.
There are many design considerations such as noise vibration, curtain and track configurations, and height of pipes off the floor.
Wire Tension Grids
A Wire Tension Grid enables the user to walk above the audience or stage area and shine lights through the wire grid.
Some venues use tension grids over the entire audience and stage area!
There are many design considerations such as grid configuration and overhead suspension.
Motorized Grid Pods
This is a pipe grid that can be lowered to floor level when heavy lighting instruments need to be installed or removed. This adds versatility to a TV Studio, black box theatre or any other space that can have a variety of uses. This has the added bonus of keeping students off of ladders or lifts to add or remove lights. There are many design considerations such as noise vibration, lifting capacity, and grid size to consider. Please contact a sales representative to help you customize your order.
