The headquarters for Stagecraft Industries, Inc. has been located in Portland, Oregon since incorporation in January of 1960. During the summer of 1994, the company relocated the main office and manufacturing facility from its original downtown location to nearby Swan Island Industrial Park. Swan Island is host to several, large, multi-national companies such as Freightliner, Boise Cascade, United Parcel Service and Federal Express. The industrial park is strategically located less than 1 mile from the Interstate 5 corridor in Portland and has easy access to all major freeways, rail and overland terminals, shipping ports, and Portland International Airport.

In addition to the Portland headquarters location, Stagecraft also has branch offices located in Seattle Washington and Oakland California. Our branch offices specialize in sales, installation services and customer support.

The buildings and property sit on nearly 3 acres of land. Positioned on the lot is a concrete, two-story building with approximately 35, 000 sq. ft. available for operations and enough parking for all employees and several tractor-trailers.

The offices are configured over two floors totaling about 7, 000 sq. ft. of finished office space incorporating sales, project management, engineering, and administration.

Approximately 20, 000 sq. ft. of the building is consumed by the metals shop that is fully equipped for custom fabrication of all metal types and shapes. Within this shop Stagecraft produces heavy rigging hardware components, sheet metal and structural shapes, tracks, tension grids, pipe grids, motorized hoisting equipment, motor control panels, the Stage-Scope and hundreds of other products used in the industry.

The separate electrical shop is listed as a U.L. 508 and 1008 life-safety equipment producing shop. Here, in addition to motor control panels, the electrical shop produces lighting distribution raceways and plug boxes, Company Switches, and Emergency Lighting Transfer Cabinets on an OEM basis. Final production support comes from a shipping/receiving dock, a detached specially equipped paint booth, and enough warehouse storage to accommodate raw materials through finished products.

The drapery shop requires 10,000 sq. ft. of floor space and 24 ft. high ceilings to handle the volume of large stage draperies that are produced from the tens-of-thousands of yards of fabric stored, cut, and sewn each year.

In addition to manufacturing, Stagecraft is also a dealer with national distribution rights for many companies including Electronic Theatre Controls, Strand Lighting, NSI-Colortran, GALA theatrical equipment, Altman Stage Lighting, Joyce-Dayton, Wenger, Stage-Right, Staging Concepts, THERN, Eurodrive, H&H Specialties, Vortek, J.R. Clancy, KM Fabrics, JB Martin, Rosebrand, Rosco, and many others.
